Coffee and Friends
It’s “Free”style Friday! Time for coffee and friends. As the card says, it’s the perfect blend.
Isn’t this card, complete with coffee stains just the cutest? A couple of weeks ago it was waiting in my mailbox. What a surprise! No matter how many email or text greetings I get, the really special thoughts are notes that come to my mailbox. Just look at the detail that continues all the way to the envelope. You can’t see it here but the coffee splatters continue to the front of the envelope as well.

Cathy Warhank, a member of our online community, is the creator of this wonderful hug. I was so excited to spend time and grow friendship with Cathy and her sister, Mary Lou, when they came to Reno earlier this year. We met at my favorite Reno cafe, the “Wet Hen Cafe” for what else, coffee and of course friendship and giggles.
You may wonder how this ties into “Free”style Friday. Well, because of this beautiful project, I had free time to focus on fundraising for my Alzheimer’s Walk. Yay! Thank you Cathy!
