Forever With You

 Forever with You

Yesterday, I teased you with a "glimpse" of a project to come and here it is.

Some things say "Home" and are just meant to be together.  That's how I feel about the elements of this card.  They all blend together so well to offer a warm, sentimental greeting.

The Framelits "Window Frames" collection and the "Festive" Paper-Piercing Pack pull it all together.

Inside

Look closely at this Specialty Paper.  It's pre-embossed with several different patterns.  It's heavy weight so can be used as a card base as well.

I used the reverse side of the paper for my embossed sentiment.  It has the look and feel of a lightweight cardboard.  Perfect to keep the "homey" feel going.

One last tip.  The sentiment piece is embossed twice.  First, with Early Espresso powder.  Then, with Cherry Cobbler on the flowers only.

Cool Tool!  The new Silicone Craft Sheet is a MUST have for making embellishments with hot glue.  It's high-heat resistant and leaves both of your hands free. Best thing… you NOT BURNED FINGERS!  Another great advantage, it's translucent letting you see a design underneath.  Cool Tool for sure!

  1. I, too, think this card is absolutely gorgeous.  Would also love directions for making the beautiful tulle flower.  ;o)
