Welcome to PPA267 Sketch Challenge with Pals Paper Arts!  Time to warm up for autumn with a beautiful three-color pallet of Crushed Curry, Pool Party and Tangerine Tango.

What better way to showcase autumn than with beautiful multi-color leaves floating to the ground?  I can’t think of even one.

The first thought that came to mind was coloring the maple leaf with blender pens and classic ink. The Lighthearted Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set (item 139712) is perfect if you love to color.  You can find them on page 44 of the 2015 Holiday Catalog from Stampin’ Up!

Then a thought crept in that beat the other one out…. sponge a collage of these colors then use the Heat Tool (item 129053) to emboss with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (item 109129).

After cutting the image with the Leaflet Framelit dies (item 138283),  smudged color was left behind.  Instead of throwing the piece away, the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing folder (item 139673) was used to give the background some texture. Now that’s wild!

Add some Baker’s Twine Before adhering that final layer to finish it off. But wait, there’s more!

Sponge the same trio of colors around the inside sentiment.  Finish it off on the envelope flap.  The Post Office won’t even be angry with this kind of envelope decoration.  Yay!.

I think this is the beginning of a long and beautiful relationship with Lighthearted Leaves so stay tuned.  So glad I decided on the Vintage Leaves Bundle (item 140235) from the Annual Catalog (page 88).  The Leaflet Framelit Dies (item 138283) fit these leaves perfectly!  Thanks a bunch Stampin’ Up!
