Purple Monster Bookmarks

Have you seen these little monster bookmarks?  I found them while looking for a project to offer during my monthly Cookies & Crafts event.  We made them for little Book Monsters returning to school. The tutorials I found were confusing and time consuming, not very friendly for a quick Make & Take event.  While creating my own version of the tutorial, it came to me…. why not Take a Bite Out of Alzheimer’s and offer my version at the same time!

You may ask, “Rae, what does this have to do with Free-style Friday?”  Easy!  I have the freedom to donate my time and resources to help out in causes I believe in.  And Alzheimer’s Disease is a cause near and dear to my heart.  But, that’s another story.

I’ve done the walk several times but this is the second year for Team Stamp Out Alzheimer’s.  We’ve set our goal and you can help.

Make a donation, of $1.00 or more, my Walk to End Alzheimer’s page before September 28, 2013. Then, send me an email (rae@wildwestpaperarts.com) with Monster Bookmark in the subject line.  Please include your name, email address and donation amount in the email.  I’ll send you complete instructions to make your very own Monster Bookmarks complete with full-size templates as soon as your donation is posted.
