Top Note Sheriff Pals Blog Hop

Let’s talk tools. I don’t think I could live without my Big Shot, Framelits and Bigz Dies as well as punches and my beloved Sponge Daubers. I have to say that my most versatile Bigz Die is the Top Note.
This fun Top Note Sheriff was designed with punches and dies only. The Hair, Mustache and Face were all created with the Top Note Bigz Die. I used the Framelits Oval Collection to create the hat and he Small Oval Punch was used to create the nose, eyes and eybrows. Sponge Daubers and Classic Ink gave dimension to Mr. Sheriff.

Now this dude rocks Rae!!!! Love him to bits. Can go on front of fancy favour box….sky is the limit!!! Did you use the oval framelit or the top note for the “brim” of his hat??? So much fun and crafty therapy all rolled into one!!! ooxx
Lynda, The hat was a work in progress. The brim: I cut the 2nd to largest Framlit Oval. Then, I freehand cut it. The crown: I cut another oval with the same size and did a freehand cut on the top. Does that help?

Hmmm… never thought of Elko as the inspiration but that works. Actually, I’ve had a cowboy on my “to do” list for awhile now. Just turned out to be a sheriff. 🙂
