A Very Merry . . .
Sometimes the "simple" ideas become the most time consuming. Can anyone out there relate?
When I cut into this Designer's Series paper (Deck the Halls #120810), I was left with the beautiful poinsettias you see here. WOW, I thought, this would make such an easy, elegant card. But, NO, WAIT, it can't be that easy! And, it wasn't. I didn't want to cover up any part of the paper. I think I need a therapist to help me get over this obsession.
I'm also one of those people that looks at the back of everything. It bothers me that we take the time to make the front and inside beautiful and neglect the back. This paper really lends itself to a "wrap around" technique. You can’t really see it but I “Smooched” the entire card with spritz.
I hope you enjoy the result of my struggle.
