August Sketch Challenge – PPA107

I can't believe a month has passed since my last post! Too long! So glad to be back. I've really missed the fun and the friendships I have made in this community while I've been away.
This card was so much fun. Quick too! The hot colors I've used in this and the last post have been a stretch for me. I'm usually not a very orange person but for some reason, I'm drawn to them right now. The best part of this card? You don't need many supplies.
The punch, stamp set and the paper from the Simply Scrappin' Kit all come from the current Summer Mini Catalog (see the icon in the upper right of this page). The Summer Mini Catalog expires on August 31, 2011. While some items are available in the new Idea Book & Catalog, other items are gone forever. So…. click on the catalog and take a peek. Place your order before it's too late. Contact me to find out how you can be a virtual hostess and earn free stamps and product. In many cases, your order alone will qualify you for a workshop. If you haven't had a workshop since July 1st, this year, you'll want to see how the hostess benefits have changed. Now, you earn Hostess Dollars to spend on almost anything.
Nuts & Bolts: Cardstock & DSP: from Simply Scrappin' Kit Playful Polka Dots #122346; Stamps: Pretty Postage#123097 (C); Stampin' Write Markers: (Rose Red, Basic Black, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight); Tools: Big Shot #113439; Textured Impressions Embossing Folder – Perfect Polka Dots #117335; Postage Stamp Punch #122344, 1-1/4" Square Punch #119865; Fibers: 5/8" Satin Ribbon (Whisper White) #114616.

Rae – this is so pretty – I love the colors you used and the bow is stunning. Your eye is definitely drawn to the bow and the various DSP squares you used.
WOW look at that bow!!
Fun use of colors.
Hugs, M
I love how cheery this card is, Rae! Thanks for being our Featured Artist!
Not only did we use the same stamp set, but we even colored using the same technique! Beautifully done, Rae!
