A Warm & Gentle Thank You
It's here! Fall in Northern Nevada. Warm, gentle and……. unpredictable. I'm thankful that Mother Nature is on our side, so far. However, it could all change in the next 5 minutes.
When I saw this set (Gently Falling #123804), I had mixed emotions. First, I have other leaf sets. How many leaves do I need anyway? Second, I've always been "2-step Stamping" challenged. All of you wood mount, rubber stampers know what I mean. Then I thought, "Rae, try it again with Clear Mount stamps". I'm sold! Don't get me wrong, I love my wood mount stamps. But, when it comes to 2-step stamping or stamping words in just the right place…. give me clear mount. Did you see how I talked myself into answering question number one? The sentiment is one of our "A la Carte" stamps, Elegant Thank You #114484.
If you look at the leaves very carefully, you can see some added zing. I used Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter #102023 applied with a 2-way Glue Pen #100425.

This is gorgeous! I love your design, the colors, and the stamps you used. I'm with you on how many leaves do you need and the two step stamps. I was never very good with two step before, but will try with clear mount now. And putting these two stamps on my wishlist too! Your card is really a knockout and you should submit it to SU! for something. I'm not a demonstrator, but think it is prettier than what is showcased in the mini. Thanks for the inspiration!

I love this card. I have several leaf sets and was debating wheter I needed another. I will be ordering it, I have seen many cards from the design team using this stamp set, and like yours the best.
I am a new Stampin Up demo in upstate NY. I get your daily posts and plan to use this card idea for a workshop in October. I have to get my order together. I am seeing lots of spice cake DSP with these autumn cards, so I guess I have to have that as well.
