A Pear-fect Thank You – PPA115
I found inspiration for this Pals Paper Arts Challenge in my own yard. We have oodles of Bartlett Pears ready for eating. Autumn is such a bountiful season. Since this has a masculine flair, here's a little Thanksgiving to some of the guys that have influenced my life. Thank you Dad for such a great foundation and work ethic. Thank you Grandpa for being the referee when Dad and I didn't see eye-to-eye. Thank you to my wonderful husband for being the perfect guy and thank you to my son for being who you are.
In case you're wondering about the horizontal lines on the vellum…. I scored them with the new Simply Scored tool #122334. Before this tool came out, I used a competitor brand that had score tracks at different measurements, making me move my paper much of the time. With this cool new tool, the score tracks are evenly spaced at 1/8", making the job much easier. Thank you Stampin'Up! But, don't take it from me…. head on over to Pals Paper Arts for more inspiration!

WOW! I love what you've done with the vellum.
Hugs, M
Thank you Mary. I wish I could take credit for the idea. There’s a designer for Verve that I just love. I saw it on one of her cards a while back. Perfect use for our great new tool!
Rae
Rae this is a beautiful card and a beautiful thought of thanks. It reminds me of my late husband and his love for Barletts! Thanks for that too.
Sue
Thank you for your comment Sue. My Dad LOVED his pears too. When I look at the fruit trees my DH planted so many years ago, I think of Dad. Glad I could spark a memory for you.
