It’s Dr. Suess Birthday!
I have such fond memories of reading "Green Eggs & Ham", "The Cat in the Hat" and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" to my younger siblings. Which book is your favorite?
While searching the web I found a fun children's site where you can create your own "Who", name it and save it. Meet Yertle Violet McFuzz! Clicking on her picture will take you to Suessville.
Let's have a little fun in Honor of Dr. Suess' 108th Birthday and Reading Across America. Post a Suess-Style poem (minimum 4 lines) in the comments section of this post by Friday, March 9, 2012, 11pm Pacific Time. I'll pull a winner at random to receive a month of my new "My Digital Studio" (MDS) online tutorials. Did you know that My Digital Studio is available for a free 30-day, no risk trial. Click here for more information.
Here's a sample poem to get your juices flowing.
First of all
Here's my shot!
But, keep in mind,
A poet, I'm NOT!
It's March, it's March!
Lucky You.

For a cool preview.
What is it, you ask?
What could be in store?
Is it brads, dies or stamps?
Well, all that and more!
When March is a memory
And April is here,
You'll be so excited 'cuz
New goodies are near!
Now it's YOUR turn! Good Luck!
Post a little Suess-style ditty
