Googly Ghouls, Take 2
Yesterday I promised to show you how to make your little bat POP. Here it is. The one simple trick, black heat embossing. If you place the two versions side by side, the stamped version looks gray and washed out in comparison to this one.
I also changed the color of the mat from Tangerine Tango to More Mustard. Why? It was competing with the focal piece for attention.
And last, but not least, I attached one of the bats with a paper "spring" to add some wiggly fun.
Paper Springs:
You'll need a strip of paper about 1/8" wide and your Paper-Piercing or Simply Scored tool. Coil the paper strip around the tool as shown below. Cut the "spring" to the desired height.
Voila! A paper spring!
I fastened the spring to the card base and bat with a glue dot and reinforced it with Crystal Effects. Now I have a bat that bounces around. He's the one on the very top.
There you have it, a simple, fun way to make your ghouls POP! Click here or on the image above for the Nuts & Bolts on this card.
Thanks again for stopping by!
