Frankenstein Day!
Yes, it's true! There's a Frankenstein Day. Born on August 30, 1797, Mary Shelley authored "Frankenstein" in 1818. This is her day. An interesting woman for sure and ahead of her time.
In honor of Mary's birthday, I pulled up a card from my archives and re-worked it with a new color palette and a feminine twist. Meet Ms. Frankenstein. She's cuter than Franky, don't you think?
Ms. Frankenstein is super easy to make. You'll need your Big Shot, a Top Note Die, a couple circle punches, a little paper and that's it. Your Simply Scored scoring tool is a great help too.
Simply Scored #122334 ♦ Top Note Bigz Die #113463
Give her some quirky hair using the Simply Scored tool. Some of the "hair" is scored and some rolled around the metal end of the scoring tool.
I gave her a dreamy, "come hither" look by adjusting the placement of her eyes as well as the shape of her mouth. Fore more information on cartooning facial expressions, download my "Nuts & Bolts" PDF. I've included a link to several "How To" videos.

Have a fun and quirky Frankenstein Day!
Thanks for the PDF. This is just too cute not to try and reproduce for my granddaughter.
They were so fun to make when I did them. Thank you for the nice comment.
This is the cutest ever – if only I had a big shot!! Just love the Mrs.! Thank you for sharing!!
Love that dreamy, come hither look! Just too fun! Thanks!
Really clever! And… the pdf was easy to follow. And, as you know, that is necessary for me!!!
