Cloud Nine Valentine
What do clouds remind you of? Dreary, cloudy, gray days? Maybe even depression? How about, soft, fluffy cotton? Or, a cute little cottontail bunny? Me? Cloud nine for sure! What better backdrop for a Valentine than cloud nine? The only thing missing is the cherub. And, this time of year, we need all the sweetness we can get.
If someone asked me what my "Go To" item was in card-making, it would be, without a doubt, Textured Impressions Embossing Folders and my Big Shot machine. I love to watch a non-crafter open an embossed card, with amazement, and run their fingers over the texture. Then, the question comes, "How did you do this?"
I created this project for a monthly club because it's easy and elegant at the same time. It really does feel like the hearts are floating among the embossed clouds. For a dramatic "Step-up" use Melon Mambo for the card base and mat layer.
