Happy Red Vine Valentine’s Day!
Happy Red Vine Valentine's Day!
How about a walk down memory lane today? This is a repost from 2012 but a favorite that I still love and a perfect way for me to say Happy Valentine's Day to all of you.
The Heart Collection Framelits had just been introduced in the 2012 Spring Catalog along with paper that was PERFECT for this project. As it turned out, I made several of these in different patterns and colors to give away that year.
Here's the rest of the post from 2012.
The inspiration for this project came from having too many treat bags and Red Vines after Christmas. I had to seal them up fast before I ate them all! I'm not usually a heart fanatic but I really wanted to use the new Framelits found in our 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog for something special. I think I've changed my mind about the hearts. These thin dies are nothing short of FANTASTIC!
Look close and you'll see areas of the sentiment embellished with Dazzling Details.
The candy was slipped into 1"x8" Cellophane Treat Bag and topped off with punched photo corners. I think Cupid would be proud.
This project is 1/2" think and definitely should be sent in a padded envelope or personally delivered. The back can be signed, stamped or just left alone.
