Pocket Full of Pop-Up Posies
I know it's not very "spring-like" where many of you live so maybe a pocket full of pop-up posies will brighten your day a smidgen. They're part of the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit (#131395) in Stampin'Up!'s Spring 2013 Catalog. The kit comes with enough ingredients to make nine tags if you follow the directions included. However, if you change the die-cut flowers just a little you'll have even more to use on cards, packages, scrapbook pages, and more.

Everything for bright, flowery tags—just add attitude.

The directions will show you how to make little flowers similar these and suggest more layers for the Pool Party and Calypso Coral flowers. I used less layers to yield more flowers.
However, with some ink, a sponge dauber, stamp and a little attitude, you can easily turn them into works of art like these.
#1 Stamped with En Francais (#109521) and Pool Party Ink (#126982)
#2 Sponged on the tips with Calypso Coral Ink (#126983)
#3 Stamped with En Francais (#109521) and sponged with Pool Party Ink (#126982)
And my favorite, with lots of attitude……
#4 Sponged with Calypso Coral Ink (#126983)
The flower centers for #2 and #3 use pieces of the 5/8" Flower Trim (#126869) from the Spring 2013 Catalog. Flower #2 also includes a Large Basic Pearl (#125577). A bright and cheery brad left over from last year's Summer Smooches collection sweetens Flower #4.
Add your own attitude to create some really cute embellishments in no time at all. Hope this pocket full of pop-up posies put a smile on your face today.
