Everybunny Mojo Monday
It’s been a while since I’ve made time for a challenge and am in need of some inspiration from fellow crafters. Hello Mojo Monday! Everybunny Mojo Monday that is. 😆 Timing is right, we even have a choice between round and square this week. Well, maybe that isn’t a good thing. Too many choices can be a challenge in itself. Can you relate?
Since Easter’s almost here and another card is still needed, Everybunny (#122707 Clear Mount) comes to mind. There are so many cute images to choose from.
Doesn’t the balloon remind you of an old-fashioned sugar egg? You know what that means…. BLING! Out comes the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (#102023). And, of course, we have to have a sky for our “Hot Egg Balloon to float in. The Cloudy Day Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is just perfect.
The next challenge is what to put in the place of the star (see the sketch). A button or bow just won’t do. It has to be something that our little bunny can see flying in the air. The Bitty Butterfly punch to the rescue!
Now, can you keep a secret? The foil butterflies were my son’s idea. Shhh… he did tell me he would deny it if I told anyone. 🙄 He looked at the colorful, foil-wrapped chocolate eggs sitting in a bowl on the counter and a light bulb went on. Genius! The colors are fantastic.
When you try this at home, make sure you glue the foil to another piece of paper or card stock before you punch. The foil is too delicate on it’s own. I used card stock and 2-way Glue Pen (#100425). Think there’s a new crafter in the family?
Flip the circle over and find a sweet greeting that’s included in the Everybunny Stamp Set. Add a little paper-piercing and you’re done.
