Earth Day is Every Day
Thank you for joining us for the April Pals Blog Hop! To celebrate Earth Day, the April blog hop features new cards and projects that capture the essence of Earth Day through colors and images and/or use recycled or reused elements. We hope you are ready for some fun and creative ideas.
You should have just left stop number 23 on the Pals Hop Max Conrad at Stamp to the MAX! If so, you are in the right spot. If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.
When you think about Earth Day (April 22 this year) what comes to mind? The obvious is Recycle, Reuse and Renew. It's really about choices. Did you know that Recycled Paper is not always the best choice? It's true. There's much more to know. I've worked in the commercial printing and mailing industry for several years. Customers require us to keep them well informed. But that's a topic for later.
This project features scraps from one of our newest products, This and That Epic Day Designer Series Paper (#130814). It also incorporates woodsy buttons, linen thread and cardboard from one of the shipping boxes from Stampin'Up! All of these things are pieces left over from previous projects. Pretty earthy, I'd say. It's also a very inexpensive card to make. A win-win!
Now, it's your turn. What can you do with your leftovers? Pick something out and create a project around it. Try to use pieces you've set aside. You'll clear your bits and pieces out in no time at all.

Such a nice card, Rae! It’s fun to see the This and That DSP used on a card. And, I love your comment about it being inexpensive to make. I get so carried away I forget about that aspect π

Thank you Debbie. This DSP is fantastic for those of us that like things shabby. No sponging necessary!
