Top Note Sheriff Pals Blog Hop
Thank you for joining us for the September Pals Blog Hop. This month we are showcasing projects made with the Stampin’ Up! tools we love like this Top Note Sheriff.
You should have just left stop number 23 on the Pals Hop – Susan Itell at Simple Stampin’. If so, you are in the right spot. If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations. Don’t be alarmed if you don’t see my information on the other hopper’s lists. There was an oversight on my part. Enjoy the rest of the hop!
Let’s talk tools. I don’t think I could live without my Big Shot, Framelits and Bigz Dies as well as punches and my beloved Sponge Daubers. I have to say that my most versatile Bigz Die is the Top Note.
This fun Top Note Sheriff was designed with punches and dies only. The Hair, Mustache and Face were all created with the Top Note Bigz Die. I used the Framelits Oval Collection to create the hat and he Small Oval Punch was used to create the nose, eyes and eybrows. Sponge Daubers and Classic Ink gave dimension to Mr. Sheriff.
Next time you pull out your Big Shot, look at the dies from a different point of view. You’ll be surprised what you can create.
The next stop is Kim Czenszak at Live Love Stamp, stop number 1 on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting – and I hope to see you next month!

Hi Rae! I went thru the blog hop so quickly on Tuesday and am now savoring the projects. And I am so glad you added this wonderful quirky guy to the line-up! CUTE!
Thank you Katy! I really enjoy coming up with these characters.
This is adorable…and I too love my big shot, dies and punches…what a fun
What a fun fun card!!! Enjoying this very much. Thank you!
I am always in “awe” when I see incredible creations like this!!! WOOT-WOOT to you as this is out of the park adorable! SOOOOOO glad that you shared it with us!
WOW! Obviously…saved the best for last. Rae, that is one handsome dude. So cute and creative!
Rae, you are out of control creative, girl!! This is amazing, and so adorable! So glad you shared your creation!
Der to me….now see and oval with a freehand cut…… 🙂
You got it!
Now this dude rocks Rae!!!! Love him to bits. Can go on front of fancy favour box….sky is the limit!!! Did you use the oval framelit or the top note for the “brim” of his hat??? So much fun and crafty therapy all rolled into one!!! ooxx
Lynda, The hat was a work in progress. The brim: I cut the 2nd to largest Framlit Oval. Then, I freehand cut it. The crown: I cut another oval with the same size and did a freehand cut on the top. Does that help?
Fun, fun, fun! You are so creative and this is a great card, I just love it!
Rae, I am so glad that you got this into the hop because it is absolutely incredible! Love, love, love!!!
Thank you Debbie. I kicked myself for not checking the list before I did the post. Balderdash!
Absolutley adorable! Did your wild weekend in Elko inspire the sheriff? Can’t wait to see this little fellow in person.
Hmmm… never thought of Elko as the inspiration but that works. Actually, I’ve had a cowboy on my “to do” list for awhile now. Just turned out to be a sheriff. 🙂
OMG! I love your awesome card!!! It would make the perfect card for my little nephews. I have such a hard time making cards for kids! You have some made crazy paper skills! You go girl!!!
Thank you Maggie. That’s me… the Mad Woman of the Wild West! LOL
How cute is this guy !!!
Thank you Linda. He was fun to come up with.
