PPA252 Sketch Challenge with Pals
Time for PPA252 Sketch Challenge with Pals! Pals Paper Arts to be exact. When first thinking about this sketch, I had a completely different color scheme in mind, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pear Pizzaz on Whisper White.
When a fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and “Pal” challenged me (and a few other “Pals”) to create and post a card with gold embossing on black, I jumped right in. The design elements I started with are the same but what a dramatic difference black and gold make.
My Original Color Plan
The stamp set used, Build a Bouquet (#137166), is retiring this month. I’ll be sad to see this one go, big time. It’s the set that coordinates with the Build A Bouquet Project Kit (#137952).

I would have probably passed it by if I hadn’t held Build a Wreath classes last month. Thirteen fun images that include small and medium sized background stamps and all sorts of pieces to build greenery with the Bouquet Bigz L Die (#137367) for your Big Shot.
Then there’s the inside sentiment. Just beautiful.
The butterfly is cut with the very popular Butterflies Thinlets (#137360).
Now, about that stamp set. It’s retiring this year and you know what that means. You only have a matter of days before it’s no longer available. Here’s hoping you’ve seen a reason to give Build a Bouquet another look.
