Celebration Time!
I bet you think this card is for Independence Day. Well, that’s what it was intended for. However, there were a few hiccups with the Wild West blog last week and I’ve had to spend time fixing a few things. Actually, it was a little more serious than a hiccup… somewhere between trip and crash is more accurate. I’d say it’s celebration time!
Now that you know I haven’t been on some tropical island somewhere… let’s get to the project.
For those of you that commented on the Weekly Deals Post last week, this is your card. My Wild West Pick June 15, 2015 is Gold Glimmer Paper. Glimmer paper has become a real staple in the tack room. With all the dust and dirt a little glitz and glamour is a must. You’ll get your PDF Tutorial this Friday to make up for the craziness last week.
Wonder where the “Celebrate” stamp came from? You won’t find it in the catalog. It’s one of the cute stamps we received in the May Paper Pumpkin Kit. These sets keep getting better and Stampin’ Up! is saying goodbye to some of the past Paper Pumpkin kits on July 27 (or sooner if customers snatch them all up)! Check out what’s retiring here. Once they’re gone, they’re gone for-e-ver!
As a special perk, current Paper Pumpkin subscribers can purchase a selection of past Paper Pumpkin Kits and refills, while supplies last. When you fall in love with a kit, there’s no need to be sad when your supplies run out-just go grab another one (or two)! There’s no guarantee that every kit will be offered as a past kit and refill, and you should get ’em while they’re hot because they’re only available while supplies last! Check out the current selection by clicking the following link Paper Pumpkin Kits. Remember, you must be a current Paper Pumpkin subscriber to purchase the past kits. Here’s a link to help you sign-up – Paper Pumpkin at Wild West Paper Arts.

Yes, this is something to celebrate! Love the card! I am never sure when or where to use the glimmer paper. I have it and usually use it as little stars. I had to smile – I have my May, PP kit out with the stamps checking out the size of the balloons and I totally forgot there is the Celebrate stamp. It looks so cool on your card with it’s fun squiggles on there. the vintage look with the paper is a super great touch. love the touch of the glimmer with all the vintage look. Great card, one of my favorites! I couldn’t see the sneak peak but that is ok mine is on the way.
