PPA256 Sketch Challenge with Pals
Time to stand on our heads and turn the PPA256 Sketch Challenge upside down. Gymnastics aren’t for everyone so be careful when trying this at home.
All kidding aside, don’t adjust your screen! I did turn the sketch a few different directions before deciding how to use it. Just click the sketch image to view the correct sketch.
The patterned background paper comes from Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack (#138443). It’s quickly become a favorite of mine. All of its 24 bright and cheerful patterns are so upbeat. Sure to put a smile on a face when the card is received.
The large candles are embossed with the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#132174) to coordinate with the little candles in the background. It just wouldn’t be right if the large candles didn’t match.
Have you figured out how the flame was cut? Here’s a hint…. on another project it could fly. If you guessed the Bird Builder Punch (#117191), you would be right. It matches perfectly with the flame stamp included in the Build a Birthday Photopolymer Stamp Set (#138646). Cool, eh? Finish off the flame with a dab of Dazzling Details (#124117) to make it pop.
Now it’s your turn. Will you stand on your head to meet the PPA256 Sketch Challenge with Pals Paper Arts? Ready, set, GO!

You are so clever! Love how you made the candles! Great card!
Thank you Linda! Sometimes you just have to stand on your head!
Beautiful card Rae! I LOVE the DSP and all of the details. The embossing on the candles is fabulous. You really hit it out of the park with this one. 🙂
Thanks a bunch Laurie. FYI… I didn’t even have to emboss the candles. Just tone on tone and a touch of Dazzling Details in the center.
Rae, this is genius! Love the card, off to pin and thanks for playing, Pal…..
Thanks a million Katy!
