PPA257 Sketch Challenge with Pals
It’s Thursday! Time to play PPA257 Sketch Challenge with Pals. It can also mean, time to stand on your head or do anything you need to do to make a sketch work, like last week. Don’t worry, no standing on heads this week, just turning on our sides. Can you see it?
Shabby cards are my favorite and so much fun. Why?
- There are NO mistakes!
- Use pieces that would otherwise be thrown away.
- Recycle, reuse and repurpose.
For instance, the front of the card started out with a Very Vanilla panel. I didn’t like it so here comes a Crumb Cake replacement. But, the Very Vanilla wasn’t wasted. You can see it peeking out from behind the Crumb Cake foreground. The little butterflies started out as little flowers from the Floral Framelits Collecton. Shabby can look intimidating but give it a try. I have a saying, when you think it’s done, throw your project on the ground, stomp on it, run over it, do whatever it takes to get the result you like. Now that I’ve shared my secret, it’s your turn. Head over to PPA256 Sketch Challenge with Pals Paper Arts and give it a whirl? Ready, set, GO!

Oh Rae – I always say it is all in the details and what great details you have here! I love this! The ribbon and the frame look fantastic together and all those fun pearls etc. Well done!!!!!

Thanks a bunch Janell!
This is my first time here I think…..spotted this gorgeous card on the Pals Paper Arts blog. I had to come over and take a closer peek. I adore this card, and love how you used the new Dotted Lace ribbon to make that flower. I’m signing up! :-)I’m a demo in Gilbert, AZ and really like your style…. I’ll be seeing more of your posts!
