PPA275 Color Challenge with Pals!
Busy, busy, think I’m dizzy! Blog hop yesterday PPA275 Color Challenge with Pals today. No complaints here because this Pals Challenges make project creating a snap!
Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist are great for fall projects and with the right stamp set, they move nicely into winter holidays too.
The right stamp set for this project is Reason for the Season (139730) from Stampin’ Up! Poinsettias and beautiful phrases. The set also has images to make your Festive Flower Builder Punch (139682) come to life. PSST… the punch is on sale until next Tuesday (November 16, 2015).
The poinsettia outlines are stamped on Vellum Cardstock (101856) with StazOn Jet Black ink (#101406) then painted.
Can you guess how the Classic Ink is applied to the Vellum Cardstock? Go ahead, make a guess in the comments below. I’d love to hear if anyone else has done this.
Here’s a pictorial hint…

WOW! The rich coloring is beautiful. I have no idea what you added to it….was it glue?
I love this! I’m guessing you used the new glue and mixed it with our reinkers. But, I’m sure a clear or white gesso would work too. Then, you colored on the back side? I really must give this a try – I love the stained glass look!
Bingo! You nailed it Nicole! Which glue?
Thank you for the great comment and of course the guess. 🙂
Thank you Maggie… you got it. Thank you for the comment and the guess.

Such a great project, Rae! Taking students in coloring? This is so terrific, I’ve got to CASE you on this one!
Hi Denise… if you’re in Reno or Sparks I’d be happy to help.
Thanks a million!
Really pretty! You “painted” on the ink with paint brushes? However or whatever you did, the result is gorgeous! Even if there was a lump of coal in the pillow box, I would still want this just for the wrappijngs! Well done!
Chris…. yes, you’re right but how did I get the ink to “stick” to the vellum?
Thanks for your great comment!
Beautiful and so different! Love it!
Thanks a million Susan!
