PPA287 A Baker’s Box of Color
Are you ready for another challenge? PPA287 Color Challenge from Pals Paper Arts is waiting! A trio worthy of any spring project. How about Easter? Or, a Baker’s Box of tea to show gratitude to a special someone. Yum!
This cute little box is created with the Baker’s Box Framelits and Wildflower Fields DSP (a free 2016 Sale-A-Bration item) and is perfect for tucking in a few tea-bags and packets of honey. Creating the box with Wildflower Fields reminds me of something my grandmother would have loved.
Not into tea? How about a couple K-Cups of favorite coffee or cocoa and marshmallows? It would even work as a gift box for jewelry, candy, an Easter egg…. just about any little thought.
If you one of the 45 entries for PPA286 last week, thank you so much for playing along with us. Whether you did or didn’t play last week, the Pals invite you to play along this week. Lost Lagoon, Old Olive and Calypso Coral were made for each other, right? We had a lot of fun with these wonderful shades, and we are excited to share our projects. We can’t wait to see what you make with these three colors – we hope you’ll share your projects with us!

Oh my goodness Rae, you’ve really outdone yourself! The baker’s box is so cute! How clever to use the dsp and to cut the “yum” out of the side of the box. Daah – ling!!
Thank you Peggy! An added doily would have been nice, too, eh?
Awesome packaging, right down to the little heart and charm on top!
Thank you Michelle. 🙂
Adorable down to the pearls on the gift card. I just ordered the bakers box with the weekly deal. Can’t wait to get it!!
so sweet…my eyes first went to the scallop and pearls…so lovely and soft. Awesome projects!
Tearrific! You had me at the word tea! I love this little box and the card. I am trying to resist the box die. Gotta ask though, how many tea bags does it hold? Would it hold a cupcake? They give dimensions on the SU site but I can tell better by what it would hold! The paper is so fun and I love the little tea embellishment!
Chris,
First, thank you! Secondly…. it depends on the size of the tea bags. Using the Stash brand tea it easily held eight bags. I did have to fold the top edge over just a little. As far as a cupcake, I haven’t tried but a standard cupcake liner fits snuggly. Hope that helps. Better get the die while it’s on sale. Great deal this week!
“Yum” right back at you! The tea is a perfect gift!
Thanks a million Mary!
Love the Wildflower’s DSP paired with the Old Olive cardstock and into such a sweet gift duo. For a moment I thought I saw wildflower seed packets in the box but your idea is definitely better.
BTW, where is the answer for yesterday’s question…. inquiring minds want to know, LOL…
Thank you Katy! I didn’t want to combine it with the PPA post. I’ll have it up late tonight.
