Totally Awesome PPA295 Color Challenge
Welcome to the totally awesome PPA295 color challenge with the Pals! Did you make a guess on yesterday’s sneak peek post?
These three colors (Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay and Crumb Cake make me think of a freshly mown lawn. Mmm… can you smell it?
Thank you to Michelle Quinno for a fresh color pallet to work with! Are you ready to play?
Foundation: A piece of White Wash fence (Farmer’s Market Designer Series Paper) sits on top of a Bermuda Bay mat mounted on the card base of Crumb Cake. Each layer is sponged with Crumb Cake Classic Ink, then distressed.
Banners: The sentiment from Grateful Bunch is stamped with Cucumber Crush Classic Ink, on a “plank” from the white wash fence, then matted with a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. The hanging Crumb Cake banner is embossed using Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, then stitched to the front. All pieces are sponged and distressed as well.
Flowers from the Grateful Bunch Bundle are stamped on Whisper White cardstock with Bermuda Bay Classic Ink, punched and sponged with Crumb Cake. Pieces of Cucumber Crush Dotted Lace Trim create the flower centers and foundation. Leaves were stamped on another piece of White Wash Fench paper, fussy cut and tucked under the banner and glued.
There you have it! Time to get out your toys and play with us for PPA295.
