My Heart Smiles
My heart smiles when I look at this 30 day challenge card, day 8. Everything came together on the first try. Now that’s wild!
Paper is the main focus my project today. Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper (140557) is a great mix of florals, geometrics and party shapes. I love that there’s a pattern for every type of birthday and more.
The Focal Piece starts with a Sentiment that’s part of Suite Sayings Stamp Set (140712 Clear Mount; 140709 Wood Mount). Framed with Lot’s of Labels (138281), this is a set that has it all…. just like the paper!
Little Details come from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit (140551) and Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim (138424). The embellishment kit has so many sweet elements like sparkly enamel dots and mini wooden hearts. I’m not sure why I hesitated in getting the 1″ Dotted Lace Trim but am sure glad I finally added it to my tack room. It’s so soft and holds a bow without pulling too tightly. The combination of lace trim, enamel dots and wooden hearts are perfect for adding a bit of romance to your project.
The Whole Banana! What would a card be without a finished inside and lined envelope? Just another pretty face? Lots of Labels were used again to frame the writing area inside. Or, stamp your favorite phrase. Lined with more coordinating paper, the envelope seals the deal.
What’s wrong with this picture? Nothing unless you consider that some of the pretty pieces needed to create this card will be gone soon. Remember, Stampin’ Up!s annual retirement list comes out on Monday, April 18th about 1:00 Mountain Time. Watch for it and act quickly as Designer Series Paper and In-Color items go quickly.
