Swirly Scribbles for PPA303
Welcome to the next color challenge from Pals Paper Arts. Mint Macaron, Night of Navy and Sahara Sand come together in some Swirly Scribbles for PPA303.
You’ll see a lot more of Swirly Scribbles Thinlits and Swirly Bird Stamp Set. They’re great alone but bundled together they’re are unbelievable. So much potential with these new tools. One of my favorite uses, creating a peony like you see above. Let’s take a closer look.
The Swirly Bird Stamp Set is full of elements, large and small, to create flowers, kites, sail boats, bird nests, and more. Bonus… it’s one of Stampin’ Up!s crystal clear photopolymer sets! This is definitely a stamp set that requires a second look… or more.
Pair Swirly Bird with the coordinating Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies to create magic! Want them both? Save 10% with the Swirly Bird Bundle (Item 142353)

Lovely, Rae! I love how you treated the background and how you made the focal part of your card the lovely Swirly bloom. Fabulous creation and perfect with this week’s challenge as well!
Another Rae masterpiece of fun and funky! Your sentiment perfectly balances the leaves, but then, you probably knew that, LOL… Off to pin, Pal….
And another perfect comment Katy! Thank you Pal!
Fabulous card, Rae! Love your peony!
Thank you Michelle!
Love the way you put the navy swirl under the mint one, Rae. Very pretty peony, and what a nice way to add dimension! Great card!
Thank you so much Peggy.
awesome scribble grunge distressed card…thanks for inspiration!
Thank you Windy! I like your phrase…. “Scribble Grunge Distressed”. You’ll see that phrase again! I still think I need to do a video on how to make a Wild West Grunge card. I need a video crew though. Lol!
You take cardmaking to a new artistic level. Beautiful mix of texture and elements, Rae!
Thank you so much Mary!
So pretty, Rae. I love all the beautiful dots you added too. It gives it such a polishec look.
Thank you Linda! And to think I had a so-so feeling about this one.
I love it! Your version of adult scribbling with swirls! OK I took my tablet out to where our peonies are growing. I am not sure if they ever grow in a green color but I will say it is one of our light ones that is almost white and with the sun shining on them the green from the foliage and grass are mirrored on the white petals. I know, vivid imagination. But all the swirling around does really look like flowers – sort of tight before they open up and splay out. Mike actually saw some yellow ones at the nursery that were labeled peonies. Whatever. Anyway, your card just screams fun! Love the little leaves. Where the one clump peonies are in our yard there is concrete and just dirt by them so your background looks really realistic with the little darker and lighter pebbles in the concrete along with some shiny bits of glass or mica in the concrete and bits of grass stain etc. What a fun and refreshing card that looks like a mini scene from my backyard!
Wow…. you do have a vivid imagination! I’d love to see some of your cards. Thank you for the wonderful comment Chris! Now that you mention it, the Sahara Sand does look like concrete.
I am to please with my imagination. I actually have a card on Susan Itell’s post for 6/6 for a swap we did. I cased it using Paper Pumpkin stamps. I do owe you a card to thank you for all my fun goodies!
Something so simple is so beautiful. Another great card !
Thanks a million for your comment Janell! I so appreciate it.
