Pick B for Baby
Welcome! My fellow Pals and I are thankful you stopped by for another one of our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes. This month we’re featuring projects based on “B“ themes such as Birthday, Bride or Baby. You’ll find lots of ideas as you hop from blog to blog starting right here with Pick B for Baby. We hope you enjoy our creations.
Whether you’re just starting the Blog Hop or have come from another blog on the list, you’ll be able to find your way using the full lineup below. Visit them all so you can enjoy all the projects.
Onesie: I had fun creating this sweetheart of a card for Baby. The background started out with a Designer Series Paper Background until I realized it would make such a cute onesie. The stamp set, Made With Love, provided the phrase on the front. It was stamped first with StaZon Jet Black, then colored in with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write Marker part of the Neutral Collection of Stampin’ Write Markers..
Depth & Detail is created by first embossing the Blushing Bride card stock panel with Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Then, fussy cut and lightly sponge the edges with Blushing Bride Classic Ink. Lastly, the little dots were created with the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write Marker.
Envelope: Since the Envelope Liner Framelits have gone away, I’ve had to experiment with different decorations for my envelopes. Lately embossing seems to be my favorite. Down with plain envelopes!
Put the pair together and you have the perfect duo.
Thanks for visiting. To continue with the hop, please refer to the Blog Hop Line-up below. We hope to see you on next month’s Pals Blog Hop!

I really like how you cut out the embossing folder. It really makes the hearts pop and the back of the envelope….of course. Why didn’t I think of that. So adorable.
Thank you Kalyn!
I love your baby onesie card, Rae! The background just sets the card off. I like how you fussy cut the embossed background.
Thank you Pam!
love, love, love
Thanks a bunch Karen.
Rae, this is an adorable baby card. The first thing I noticed was your fussy cutting skills… wow. And adding the dots really provides additional interest to the edge. But the onesie steals the show. Hope you have someone special to give this card to… 🙂
Thank you Katy! I don’t have anyone quite yet but there was a wedding last weekend. 🙂
Very cute and you added two more “B” terms by using Blushing Bride! Love the texture and that envelope is the BEST!
Wow Chris… I didn’t even think of that! Drats… that would have been great to incorporate in the post. Thank you!
Adorable baby card, Rae! Love the texture of the TIEF. That swirly thinlit is going to be getting a great workout – it is so versatile!!
I agree Debbie. Swirly Scribbles are the bomb!
Love the onesie, Rae!
Thank you Karen!
