PPA310 Take Two
Hungry for leftovers? A question I asked on Instragram this morning when I posted some “leftovers” from my challenge card yesterday. Well, are you? If you’re not a “leftover” kind of person, better not hang around for PPA310 Take Two. Click here to see the scraps posted to Instagram.
This take on the sketch is definitely more literal and believe it or not, it took me longer for this than the detailed card posted yesterday (Awesomely Artistic Layers). Unbelievable since some of the stamping was already done. Pretty quirky, eh?
This one is pretty straight forward except for money saving trick I have to share. Take a look at the graphic below.
Money Saving Trick: I discovered this a few weeks ago after placing an Enamel Shape (I love these things!) in the wrong place. While trying to lift the shape up with my Paper Snips, a perfect little deposit was left behind. The shape is flat and shiny, but not as shiny as a sequin. Although the adhesive surface is gone, you’ll still have the shape to use somewhere else. The shape is a tiny bit smaller than the original piece. Just use your Fine-Tip Glue Pen to put it wherever you want it. Now THAT’s WILD!
Copper is in! The thin Copper Metallic Thread is barely visible but adds that special “something” to a very simple card.
PPA310 Sketch Challenge: Have you played yet? I don’t often play twice but these leftovers wouldn’t last forever. Click Here to play with us this week!

PPA310 Take Two Product Round-up:
Simple adorable. Your colors are perfectly soft and subtle. So happy you played along with PPA this week.
Thanks again Maggie. This one was pure fun.
This is a beauty, Rae! Thanks for joining us this week!
Fun! Good to know we can get more out of the enamel shapes…I tend to hoard them so maybe now I will use them a bit more. Loving the new copper metallic thread stuff too.
Yes, I know what you mean. This was a complete “happy” accident. Enjoy!
