Flirty Flamingo Treat Bag for PPA313
The dog days of Summer are upon us and Mary Fish has combined a warm collection of colors for this week’s Color Challenge. Yes, that Mary Fish. Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach are perfect for Summer and Tip Top Taupe adds a contrasting neutral great for your mid-August projects. My choice of products to use? Pop of Paradise paired with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits to create this Flirty Flamingo Treat Bag for PPA313.
With a color trio that includes Flirty Flamingo, Pop of Paradise was not only an obvious choice, it was the ONLY choice for me. Thank you Mary Fish for a great group of colors to work with this week.
What’s with the green? As the project started coming together it need something to make it pop. Emerald Envy, was the perfect companion to it’s fellow 2016-2018 In-Colors, Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach.
The Surprise is on the inside. Most of the time I use the Mini-Treat Bag for a a presentation envelope, like now.
As with many of our dies, the Mini-Treat Bag Thinlits set. include several accent pieces. “For You” is one of those pieces. Take a look.
Romance your creations with layers of doilies. A great way to add a little vintage romance with or without distressing.
Dimension is created by lightly sponging the edges of both the flamingo and leaves.
Bit o’ Sparkle is added to our flamingo with Clear Wink of Stella. The light “wink” of sparkle is just enough to notice without being in your face glitz and glitter.
