Hanging Around with PPA317
Are you ready for another fantastic color challenge from Design Team Two at Pals Paper Arts? Of course you are. What would Thursday be without a little Pals inspiration? Start your inspiration journey by hanging around with me and some Kraft Rope Trim. Visit this week’s challenge so you can see what my fellow design team members have created, just for you. Finish off the journey by showing us how we’ve inspired you this week.
This beautiful autumn combination was put together by fellow Design Team Pal, Michelle Quinno. Don’t they just SCREAM autumn? Add a little bright green for the perfect Halloween combination too. Spooky! Thank you Michelle for the great color inspiration this week.
Weathered Wood Background is created by inking the top panel of the Woodgrain Embossing Folder with Early Espresso Classic Ink before running it through the Big Shot. Crumb Cake Cardstock is used here. Inking and distressing the edges of the card stock will result in a cohesive, aged feel.
Create a Lasso with the new Kraft Rope Trim. Tie it up with a piece of Linen Thread to keep the bulk down. Decorate your rope wreath with a few leaves cut with Flourish Thinlit dies, along with a small piece of Gold Baker’s Twine (love that stuff). Leaves were brushed with Gold Wink of Stella. Boy do they glimmer in the light! The entire “wreath” is attached to the wood grain embossed cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Thank You comes from the Thoughtful Thanks stamp set. Here’s a stamp set with the complete package in mind. Paired phrases makes finishing your cards a snap. Get ready for the busy holiday season by having a bundle of Thank You cards at your fingertips. Grab a Thougthful Thank You Stamp Set today!
Now, it’s your turn to test these colors together. What will you make? Something for Halloween or Autumn or something entirely different? Don’t just sit there hanging around get inky so you can show us your stuff! We’re waiting.
