My Favorite Season Blog Hop – Sept 2016
And my favorite season is…..
Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for September 2016. Projects this month will celebrate “My favorite season”. It may be Autumn, Winter, Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas (and maybe even a combination!) We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.
Whether you’re just starting the Blog Hop or are working your way through, you can find your way by visiting the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below. The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.
I’m not sure that Halloween is my favorite season but it sure is fun to decorate for this holiday. Here you see a pop-up box card. It lies flat and fits into a 6 x 9 envelope. A fun piece to display on a desk or mantel.
When creating a pop-up box it’s important to set the scene before fastening the individual images. This scene is set with the Spooky Fun Bundle.
In this example the headstones and Jack-O-Lanterns are at ground level while ghostly images hover overhead. A witch flies in front of the moon while the Jack-O-Lanterns seem to say, “Trick or Treat”. You’ll even see a pair of scary grinch eyes added from the Jar of Haunts stamp set.
Outside flaps and the “Brick Wall” are created by cutting images from the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper, backed up with Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper.
Here’s a close-up of the haunting scene.
Thank you so much for spending some of your day with me and my fellow Pals today. To continue with the hop, please refer to the Blog Hop Line-up below. We hope to see you on next month’s Pals Blog Hop!
