Happy Fun Friday!
Happy Fun Friday!
Happy Fun Friday!
Happy Fun Friday! What does that mean to you?
- Fun Facts?
- Fun Food?
- Fun Projects?
- All of the above?
In my quest to put more “fun” in my life I came up with an idea. Share the fun things I find with you. How fun is that? So, join me for the first of many Fun Fridays. Here we go..
Fun Birthday Facts: While asking Google for the date of a certain holiday in 2017, I stumbled upon Calendar-12. One of the tabs on the site called “Fun”, lead me to a Birthday Calculator. You really need to try this. Click Birthday calculator for your fun birthday facts.
More Fun Calendar Facts…. Do you know how to calculate a Leap Year? I sure didn’t until I found the Calendar-12 website.
A leap year is a year which is both evenly divisible by 4 and not divisible by 100 or just is evenly divisible by 400.
For example:
- 1996 year is a leap year because it is divisible by 4 and not divisible by 100;
- 1800 year is not a leap year because it is divisible by 4, but also by 100;
- 2000 year is a leap year because it is divisible by 400.
Fun Fox Cookies: My friends know how much I love to cook, especially trying new recipes and experimenting on them. Look what I found on Pinterest and Lisa from The Bearfoot Baker. Aren’t these little fox cookies the cutest? Lisa even has a video to make the decorating just as fun and easy.
Fun Weekend Project
Fun Fox Project: Another Pinterest find, this Felt Fox Cozy from Lia Griffith . Not into felt and sewing? I bet you can convert this into a paper project in no time at all.
More Fun: Speaking of Fun Projects, have you put together your January Paper Pumpkin Kit yet? This month’s Adoring Hearts Paper Pumpkin Kit has 24 sweet treat bags to dress up with love. I have some alternate samples on the Paper Pumpkin Patch so you can mix it up a little too. Here’s one idea from the kit.
Stop my the Paper Pumpkin Patch on Facebook this weekend for more alternate kit ideas.
Don’t forget to grab your Sale-A-Bration Gift with a 3-month Paper Pumpkin Subscription!
Time’s a wastin’. Better get on with the fun!
What fun! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Susan! So glad you liked the post. I’m on the hunt for next Friday’s Fun!
Great ideas! Especially for me !!!
Your great grandson was on my mind when I saw these. I guess he’s the inspiration for this post! Give him an big thank you hug for me this weekend.
I love this weeks post, so many cute ideas!!
Thank you Lynda! This was super fun to put together. I’ll be doing this every Friday until the ideas run out, or I do. LOL!
Hi Rae! I agree with Linda. Those cookies look amazing! I just had to have the fox builder punch and stamps but have yet to use them! Maybe I can make some of the cookies and make a valentine card to match the fox! I even like the cup holder thing though I am not big on foxes but liked the raccoon made with the punch. I looked a minute on the cookie maker’s site and that cake looks good too. I will explore her site more later.
Do you know anybody who would sell their January PP kit? I was going to get a refill so I had enough to make the police and fire dept. their stuff but then I found out they are not having refills due to low supply. I might try making a pattern too but then that will take a lot of time.
I will try the birthday calculator later – it said not available or something like that.
Have a good weekend!
Thank you Chris! I’ll check the birthday calculator to make sure I don’t have a gremlin. Darn, I just sold my extra kit today. I’ll put a feeler out for you.
Rae, what a fun post. Thank so much for taking your time to make our lives happy.
Thank you for commenting Linda! The happy vibes go both ways. I love when I post something that everyone loves.
