Retiring Playful Palette
Wow! What a Monday! Retiring items list, Paper Pumpkin deadline and the new annual catalog preview (for demonstrator eyes only) all today. Result… a very slow Stampin’ Up! website and frustration! ARGH! Time to play using the retiring Playful Palette DSP Stack! .
As mentioned above, the Stampin’ Up! retiring items list is live. Now is the time to get your hands on favorite outgoing paper and inks because they’re the first to go. One of my favorite retiring papers, Playful Palette Designer Series Paper Stack (141657) is on the hit list.
It’s wild, it’s bright and I love it! Also on the list, the Emerald Envy Thick Baker’s Twine 141686. Both of these items are discounted. Check it out by clicking on the blue item numbers.
Stamp Set: This fun stamp is part of the Reverse Words stamp set available as a Sale-A-Bration Gift. Did you get it before Sale-A-Bration ended?
Stamp Painting: Playful Palette is full of brushstrokes and spatters so what better than to replicate the look on the stamped image. Super easy to do. Just apply coordinating color directly to the stamp with brush tips of coordinating Stampin’ Write markers. After you’ve applied the color, huff (breath on the painted stamp) to make sure ink is moist. Then, stamp!
Green Gems: Did you watch Paper Arts Live last Friday night? What?! You didn’t? I’m so offended! You’re forgiven… just this once. I demonstrated how to turn those pesky little Silica Gel Packets into Silica Gel Shaker Gems. I used attached a few of them to this card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
