Glitzy Graduation Celebration

Nothing says, “Glitzy Graduation Celebration,” like gold balloons and sequins. And, no better time to celebrate than a special graduation. Let’s celebrate “Throwback Thursday” with this fun, shiny card.

This card is for a the son of a young man that grew up in our neighborhood and was friends with my son. He died tragically before his son (the graduate) was born. It was fantastic celebration for a super graduate.

Mortar Board Hat I’ve seen all kinds of card with cute graduation caps but sometimes a simple square with a ready-made tassel is all you need. The tassel comes from the Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit featured in the 2017 Occasions Catalog. The ring was snipped off with wire cutters. The tassel is glued on with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Sorry,the embellishment kitis retired. Never fear, there’s a new tassel in town.
