International Top Ten Winner Teacher Gifts
Welcome to the August Top Ten Winners International Blog Hop brought to you by Kyle Bertucci. Our theme this month is “Teacher’s Gifts”. It’s truly an honor to be in this group of crafters. Why? Because YOU cast a vote to get all of us here.
What do you think of when it comes to gifts for a teacher? Back to school or something else? Since school has been in session here for a couple of weeks, why not bring a fall basket to a favorite teacher. Not just any fall basket. This basket has two personalities to display throughout the autumn season.
Now for the Surprise! What teacher wouldn’t love this simply cute pumpkin to display on their desk? Fill it with crinkled shreds and some wrapped candy to complete. But, as they say, “Wait there’s more!” Turn this basket around for a Jack-O-Lantern basket to hold Halloween stickers and treats. It wasn’t planned but don’t those little shreds look like hair? Now that’s wild!
Creation Hint. If you have the Stitched Shapes Framelits (145372), you have what you need to create one of these little baskets. Since this is for an upcoming class, you’ll have to wait for the tutorial. However, here’s a hint. I used the largest oval in the set to create the pumpkin.
Thank you so much for voting on my little schoolhouse box, putting me in the Top Ten for the third month in a row! Don’t remember what you voted on? Click here for that project. Then, watch for the next chance to vote in Mid-September.
There you have it! Now, hop on down to the next artist by clicking on the next person in the list below. You’ll be glad you did.

Hi Cookie. I used the largest oval for this project. I’m working on the tutorial for a class and will let you know when it’s done. Thank you so much for your wonderful compliment.

Absolutely adorable, Rae! You have a great talent for making “home decor” items, my friend!! Love the smile!!!
Thank you Katy. That means a lot coming from someone that makes such gorgeous Home Decor items herself.
Wow! So cute and so clever, I love it so much I want to make one and we are in spring and don’t celebrate Halloween!
