Thank you so much for hopping with the Stampin’ Pretty Pals today. Please take a minute to mark your calendar for our next hop on October 11, 2017 for “Wicked Folds”. Now hop along using the Blog Hop Line-up below. Don’t forget to leave us a comment. We’d love to hear what you have to say about our Favorite Holiday. Bye the way, what’s your favorite holiday?
Welcome to the Pals September 2017 Blog Hop. Thank you so much for joining us today. This month our theme is “My Favorite Holiday”. Sit back and enjoy the view while the Pals treat you with projects for the upcoming Autumn and Winter holidays.
Whether you’re just starting the hop, or have come from a previous Pal’s blog, you’ll find the line-up toward the end of my post to help you move along.
My Favorite Holiday, now that’s a difficult decision. I normally don’t play favorites. Christmas seems so, um, obvious? Actually, if there were a “Happy Snowflake Day” that’s what I would have chosen. Snowflakes are so fascinating, pristine and fleeting. Except when it comes to embossing folders and stamps.
What embossing folder? Have you found it yet? Look closely, it’s the large snowflake. It’s created with Embossing Paste and the Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. A little Dazzling Diamonds Glitter is sprinkled on top for some sugary sparkle.
What else? Snowflakes and sentiment from the Flurry of Wises Stamp Set are heat embossed in white over vellum. You won’t find this stamp set in the 2017 Holiday Catalog. It’s actually in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.
Now it’s time to hop along and see all of the wonderful projecs the Pals have in store for you.
Hop List:
How do you create the snowflake with embossing paste and the embossing folder?
Stephanie… If you’re on my mailing list you will have received my free tutorial. If not, sign up using the “form” on the right sidebar of this blog and I’ll send it to you.
So sparkly a cold… but the good kind of cold that involves fuzzy blankets, a warm cup of something, a nice fire and a window to watch all the magic swirling around!
What a wonderful scene you’ve painted Corinne. Thank you.
Gorgeous snowflake Rae!
Thank you Jeanie
Beautiful snowflake. Love the idea of a Happy Snowflake Day! What a fun idea using the embossing folder. I have yet to get the embossing paste or this folder but I just might have to try this among a zillion other ideas! Have a cool yule!
Thank you Chris. Try it…. it’s fun.
Absolutely gorgeous, Rae! And I heartily endorse your suggestion of Happy Snowflake Day! LOL Amazing fussy-cutting skills and well worth the effort. Love it!!
Thank you Debbie. Great minds think alike, right?
Su…
Thank you. It’s also embossed with Embossing Paste and glitter.
Gorgeous snowflake, Rae! I might have to try fussy cutting this snowflake!
