Pillow Talk with Paper Pumpkin
Ready for a little pillow talk? Pillow boxes, that is. When the Paper Pumpkin Layered Leaves Kit came in September 2o17 I fell in love with the beautiful leaves and autumn colors. There were so many in the kit. What to do with all of these beautifully embossed kraft boxes?
In stead of using them all for Autumn Thank You gifts, I saw a great gift card holder starting to emerge. So simple too!
Simple is Merry in my book. When the holidays heat up, we’re looking for ideas to make our lives operate on auto-pilot, right?
What I did…
- Wrap a piece of ribbon around the box. About 20 inches will do.
- Thread the ends up through the center of a Foil Snowflake and tie a bow. On the green one, I tied a knot then attached a bow on top. I flipped my snowflake over to reveal the vanilla side.
- Add a paper accent from the Corrugated Elements embellishments and add some bling.
- Create a little tag using the Everyday Label Punch. I used an old stamp from the November 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit. Any small stamp will work. To create the layers, cut the end from the top layer. I also added a middle layer with Crumb Cake Cardstock. It only shows on the end. Score the bottom layer so it folds over the top and glue. Tie to bow with Linen Thread.
Easy! Especially if you use one of tags included in the Paper Pumpkin kit instead of creating a tag from scratch.

Pillow Talk Product Roundup:
Gorgeous Rae! I left you a note on Facebook about the stamp you used. Sorry, I read this post later in the day. I love when I can reuse my PP stamps. I like the little curly cues on this one and plan on using it some more this season. I did use it within the last couple of weeks and that was why I asked about it. Anyway, love the little hearts with the bling as well. I will be CASEing these! I am pretty sure I have some Real Red and/or Cherry Cobbler ribbon left. If not, I will figure out some combination – maybe silver and Night of Navy?
No reason to apologize. I love your comments Chris. Keep them coming. I love this little stamp set. One of the reasons I keep Paper Pumpkin Kits coming are the stamp sets included in them.
Happy Thanksgiving!
