Gorgeous Posies from the Garden
Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team is showcasing “Gifts From the Garden.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Today, I’m showcasing my favorite project kit from the new catalog, Gorgeous Posies. Although the cards are beautiful as directed in the kit (and easy to assemble!), sometimes we all like to add our spin, right? The card above and below the Stampin’ Up! sample are examples of how easy it is to change things up a bit.
I hear customers say they don’t like kits because the cards will look like everyone else’s cards. Not true! With just a turn of the card, you can make it your own. To compare the subtle changes I made, take a look at the stock photo toward the end of my post.
Shown here are samples from the Stampin’ Up! catalog.
Here’s what you get with this project kit.
- 16 Printed card bases (size A2)
- 16 Printed card fronts
- 16 Designer envelopes
- White die-cut labels
- Printed die-cut pieces
- 3 yards of ribbon
- 4 yards linen thread
- You even get a beautiful box to store your finished cards.
What a great gift idea! Not me, I’m keeping the box.
To create the cards with the greetings I used, you’ll also need the coordinating Gorgeous Posies Stamp Set (sold seperately). Personally, I like the fact that I can purchase more than one Gorgeous Posies Project Kit without the stamp set.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop, which will be August 12th when our theme is “My Happiest Season.” The Design Team will showcase projects inspired by their favorite seasonal time of the year. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.
