Great Family Occasions with my Pals
Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team’s theme is “Great Family Occasions.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
What’s a Great Family Occasion? Any time we get together! Today I choose birthdays. Handmade cards make everyone feel special. It’s right up there with flowers, right?
Funny story. When I purchased the Garden Suite, I really had trouble using the Dandy Garden DSP. The color combinations just didn’t work for me. Have you ever had that happen to you? After working with it for a while, it grew on me. Now that it’s retiring, I’m having fun with it.
What’s not to like? Have DSP that doesn’t excite you? Nine times out of ten the flip side of the paper will change yorur mind. That’s what happened here. Now I’m sorry to see it come to an end.
Don’t forget to decorate the inside. It doesn’t take much time and it makes such a difference.
Then there’s the envelope. Decorating the envelope builds anticipation for what’s inside and finishes the package.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on May 12th when our theme is “2021-2023 New In Colors” when our Design Team creates a project with the new family of In Colors for any occasion. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft space.

What a darling card, Rae, inside and out 🙂
Thank you Beth.
Pretty card Rae! I’m glad you put that paper to use because your chosen color palette really works. Very nice!!
Thank you Melissa
Rae, when I just looked at your card I thought, WOW! I haven’t yet seen the Dandy Garden Bundle displayed so beautifully and in such a clever way. I love this.
Thanks a bunch Debbie
Wow, great card, Rae! Love how you layered it onto the DSP. You made several good points – 1) any time family can get together, it’s a great occasion; and 2) I prefer the flip side of DSP more often than not LOL! Thank you for joining in the April Blog Hop and thank you for everything you do for the hop!
I completely understand what you said about this DSP. The only pieces I have are from a product share. Now, I am going to look again, especially at the reverse sides. Thanks for inspiring me!
Thank you Sue. Happy to help!
Rae, I couldn’t agree more…any time you can get together is a GREAT FAMILY OCCASION! I appreciate you sharing the funny story. I have been known to just appreciate something before it retires too! I really like the Dandy Garden DSP! As well as your card! 🙂
