Fun Folds for July 2022
Welcome to the July Fun Fold Blog Hop! We may be small in numbers but we make a big splash! Hope you enjoy this month’s entries.
Have you ever been told… “Just try it on, you may like it.” or “You can’t tell how it looks when it’s on the hanger”? Well, that’s the feeling I had when I was given the Splendid Day Suite (#159681) from the July-December 2022 mini catalog. Gee. thanks?
Boy oh boy was I mistaken. This is one beautiful suite of products.
Back to the project.
This fun fold is super easy.. Let’s get started.
- Cut a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock 4-1/4″ x 11″. Score at 5-1/2″, fold and burnish.
- Cut a piece of Pool Party cardstock 4″ x 10″. Score at 5-1/4″ x 7-3/4″, fold (see photo below) and burnish
- Cut two pieces of DSP: one pice 3-3/4″ x 5″ and one piece 2-1/4″ x 5″
- Affix the DSP pieces to the pool party card stock as shown below.
- Affix large, layered piece to Basic White piece created in step 1.
- Next, cut a piece of DSP with the die that looks like a taco.
- Cut several pieces of DSP with the floral pieces. Arrange in a bouquet and affix the stems to the front of the card as shown below.
- Affix the “taco” piece over the bottom of the bouquet with dimensionals.
- Tie a bow and affix to the “taco” with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Embellish with Jewels.
10. Die cut greeting piece from Thick Basic White. Stamp Greeting in Pool Party. Embellish with jewels as shown below. Affix this piece to the small panel with dimensionals.
11. The only thing left to do is embellish the inside of the card with a few floral die cuts. You can see one peeking out from the side in the second photo above.
One more thing…..the finished size of this card is a standard A2 (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″)
Here’s a few more projects made from this suite.

Fun Fold July 2022 Product Showcase:
Perfectly done, Rae! I, like you, was less than impressed with this bundle at first. But it’s now on my list to purchase when I get my craft room back. Love the paper you used and a double easel is my favorite fun fold! Thanks for joining the hop this month.
Your card is beautifully delicate looking! The choice of paper plus those delicate die cuts are so pretty! And I love the fold!
