Glitz, Glam and Seasons of Fun
This month, the theme is Seasons’ Greetings. This month’s design team members showcase projects inspired by their favorite seasonal time of the year. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I don’t think of Halloween as my favorite holiday. However, it’s so much fun with all the glitz and bright colors.
With just a few supplies and tools, you can put this together in no time at all. Here’s how.
Finished Size: Standard A2 (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″)
- Basic Black Card Stock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″: score in half.
- Lights a Glow Specialty DSP: cut 3 strips between 1-1/4″ and 1-1/2″. Length vary between 3-1/2″ & 4″. Arrange on card front and adhere.
- Punch Gold Glimmer with Decorative Circle Punch. Punch stars from Witch Hat Builder punch. Adhere to card as shown.
- Emboss Witch Hat with Gold Embossing Powder on Basic Black card stock. Punch with Witch Hat Builder Punch, Emboss spider directly on card front.
- Punch hat out with Witch Hat Builder Punch. Adhere to the front of the card as shown using Stampin Dimensionals. Don’t throw those little black stars away. Use them to embellish your creation.
- Tie Vanilla and Basic Black twine in an overhand note and adhere the ends.
- Inside: Cut 3-3/4″ x 5″ Vanilla card stock. Decorate with witch shoes as shown. Adhere to the inside of the card. Don’t forget to color the stockings and shoes with Stampin’ Blends. You can see the colors I used in the showcase below.
- Voila! You’re done!
So get out your punches, some card stock and a few strips of paper to create some Glitz & Glam.
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on September 14th. Our theme will be Focus on the Sentiment, when the design team will showcase a sentiment as the focal point of their project. I’m so excited for our next hop. Thank you so much for hopping with the Stampin’ Pretty Pals.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
