Country Bouquet Valentine
Ready for a challenge? I am and glad to be back. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner you may be looking for a simple gift for a co-worker, good friend, or that special someone. Here’s a a treat holder that will WOW your Valentine. And, it’s EASY!
I wish I could say this “Creative Crease” was my design. I found it on Split Coast Stampers. I immediately thought of the Country Bouquet Bundle and Country Floral Lane Paper from Stampin’ Up to create this sweet project.
Let’s get started!
Construct the Heart:
- Cut DSP strip: 1-1/4″ x 11″; Fold in half.
- Apply strong adhesive to one end of the strip.
- Pinch ends together as shown.
-
Construct the Box:
- Cut cardstock 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″; Score at 5/8″ on all sides
- Snip the as shown to create the tabs
- Affix strong adhesive as shown.
- Adhesive Tip: I have used Tear & Tape Adhesive here. However, a strong liquid glue like Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) works just as well, if not better. However, it takes a little longer to complete the project due to drying time.
- Assemble the box.
Assemble the project
- Affix the box to the inside of heart as shown
- Decorate as desired
- Fill the treat box
Now, wasn’t that easy? One question remains…. what treat will fill the box? Time to enter the challenge! Show us your best work and you may be chosen the next Creative Creases Winner! Aww, Rae, this Valentine’s gift is wonderful! I don’t think I have seen this before and just love it! Great choice in paper, too. Have a great weekend, my friend.
Thank you Debbie. They are so easy. They can also be used for table favors (showers, weddings, etc.)
