Bright Birthday Daisies
Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, our theme is the New 2023-2025 In Colors from Stampin’ Up! We hope you will be inspired by all the creations we Pals share with you! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
2023-2025 In-Colors
Now that you’ve had a few weeks to get used to these earthy new In-Colors, which is your favorite? Me? Boho Blue is my pick. The piece of designer series paper used in my project (Fresh as a Daisy #161289) features Boho Blue and Copper Clay, a perfect combination.
It’s been a crazy couple of weeks so I needed to press the “Easy Button”. This sheet does the trick. Fresh as a Daisy DSP plus the Cheerful Daisies Bundle (#161297) equals a sweet suite. I just love the way these flowers layer.
Bright Birthday Daisies Nuts & Bolts
Paper Cuts –
- Card Base: Boho Blue Cardstock 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″
- Layer 1 (mat layer): Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Layer 2 (top layer): DSP 5″ x 3-3/4″ shown in photo above.
- Inside: Basic White Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″
- Daisies & Label: Basic White, Boho Blue Cardstock and Fresh as a Daisy DSP shown in photo above.
Construction –
- Trim Layer 2 to correct dimensions. (See Paper Cuts above). Adhere to Layer 1
- Adhere layers from Step 1 to card base.
- Adhere Inside layer to inside card base.
- Die cut flowers and layer as shown. Adhere layers together.
- Adhere flowers to inside and outside of card as shown.
- Die cut greeting labels. One from Basic White Cardstock and One from Boho Blue Cardstock
- Stamp greeting on white label from Step 6 with Copper Clay Classic Ink.
- Cut Boho Blue Label in half. Layer and adhere it behind the stamped greeting so the ends extend past the white label.
- Adhere the finished label to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals as shown.
- Embellish with 2023-2025 In-color dots.
The products I used are listed at the end of this post.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are very excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on July 12th, when our theme will be CASE the Catalog, when the design team chooses a card from the new Annual Catalog and recreates it with their own creative twist.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Fabulous! Beautiful card!
Thank you Pam.
Very pretty card, Rae, inside and out! Boho Blue might be my favorite also.
Thank you Su
I love the picture of you with the brush! You look like a mad creative genius! Great job on the card. Beautifully done!
Thank you Diane. The picture is about 5 years old. I love it (Mad Creative Genius)! I’m sure some will concur.
Thank you Debbie. It’s so fun to bring a piece of pretty paper into focus.
Beautiful card, Rae! I love everything about it. You taught me a long time ago to look at our designer papers for our focal images. You did it perfectly again today. Thanks for joining the blog hop this month.
So so pretty — this color combination is so rich and yet unique! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Mary… I completely agree with the color combo mention.
Nothin’ beats easy like beautiful Rae! Love what you did here! A pleasure to see how you put your own stamp on our Pals Hop!
Thanks a million Deb!
I love that you used the same DSP that I did and created a different look. SU! Nailed it with this color combination. Beautiful card!
I completely agree Sue. Thank you for your comment.
I love how you used the daisy inside…new idea to me!! TFS
Verna, thank you. The inside daisies weren’t planned. LOL! I couldn’t decide what color to use on the outside so I had them left over. I love leftovers!
This paper makes it easy, but you’ve taken it up a notch with your daisy die cuts! Well done!
Thank you Karen!
I’m having a hard time navigating your site. I’m looking for instructions for this card
Thank you Barbara. I’ll get that fixed pronto!
Lovely card and pop of blue flowers!
Thank you Windy!
