Welcome to Creative Creases Challenge #66. Thank all of you that participated in the last challenge. Thank you for playing along with us. What? You say you haven’t played in our challenge yet? there’s no time like the present. You’ll find a button toward the end of this post. First, let’s talk about the Season of Cheerful Folds.

You may be asking, “What is an Inside-Out Pocket fold.”  Well, I have to admit, I made up the name. I actually have no idea what it’s called. I will say it’s relatively easy. All you need is an envelope that is printed on the inside. For this project, I used envelopes from the August, 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Meaningful Flowers. Thank you Beverlee Morales for the idea.  Mine is a little different but the idea is the same.

The other side opens to insert a gift card and small note card.

For this size pocket you’ll need an A2 size envelope.

1. First, deconstruct the envelope carefully.
2. Fold the sides in so the flaps overlap just a bit. Glue.
3. Apply glue as shown in figure 3.
4. Fold up to make the pocket.
5. Trim the glue strip off
6. Affix a decoration with dimensionals. This is used for tucking in the flap to hold it closed.
7. Decorate as desired.

4. Fold up at crease	5. Glue Strip
6. Create a flap enclosure.

This is a fold you can easily remember. Try it. Now I’m off to find more envelopes I can use to create Inside-Out Pocket folds for the Holidays!
