Beautiful Flowers for Pals April 2024 Blog Hop
Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop, April 2024 edition.
This month, the theme is See How My Garden Grows. We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I’m a big fan of wildflowers, naturalized landscapes and meadows. “Memorable Meadows”, the March 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit contains the perfect supplies for my project.
Make the inside just as interesting by using the inside of an envelope (included in the kit) and the scraps from creating the front of the card.
Nuts & Bolts
Finished Size:
- A2 (4-1/2″ x 5-1/2″)
Paper Cuts:
- Fresh Freesia Cardstock – 4-1/4″ x 11″, Score at 5-1/2″ on long side
- Memorable Meadows Card – Trim to 3-7/8″ x 5-1/4″
- Deconstructed Memorable Meadows Envelope – Patterned portion 4″ x 5-1/4″; save white portion
Construction:
- Use a circle punch between 2″ and 2-3/8″ (a die of the same size will work also) to cut create a partial circle cut-out on the right side of the Memorable Meadows trimmed card. Save scraps. I used a retired 2″ size punch for this card.
- Repeat Step 1 with the white scrap left over from the deconstructed envelope. Adhere under the piece created in Step 1 so just a little white shows on the left side of the circle. I used Liquid Glue.
- Stamp the greeting directly on the card base.
- Tip: Lay the piece created in Steps 1 & 2 over the card base for a guide when stamping.
- Adhere the top layer to the card base with Foam Strips, making sure to leave space to thread a 12″ piece of ribbon underneath.
- Tie a bow or knot with the ribbon. Trim ends.
- Adhere the patterned portion of the envelope to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the circle scrap to the inside as shown in the photo above. I also used the white scrap piece left over from the envelope.
- Finally, use a few sequins included in the kit to embellish the outside of the card.
This is how my garden grows… wild and free.

Rae, I LOVE this! I wish I could pin it but I don’t see a button to do that so I guess I’ll just have to make it…lol!!
Thank you Karen. I’ll fix the PIN situation. I think it went away when I was working behind the scenes.
