Welcome to a new Creative Creases Challenge where Anything Goes with a Fun Fold.

Hope you’ve been able to follow some of the entries. I’ve discovered so many interesting folds in the gallery. Some of them even have instructions. Visit the Creative Creases Archives If you ever want to check out a past challenge gallery.

My project is a simple Gate Fold paired with Meandering Meadow Designer Series Paper (DSP) and a faux belly band twist.

The “gate” from the meadow opens up to a coordinating message.

Gateway Meadow Nuts & Bolts

Paper Cuts

• Card Base – Thick Basic White 4-1/4″ x 11″; score at 2-3/4″ from each end (long side)
• Die-Cuts – Basic White 3-3/4″ x 7″ (approximate)
• Cardstock Layer – Crushed Curry 2-5/8″ x 4-1/8″ (2 pieces)
• Front DSP Layer – 2-1/2″ x 4″ (2 pieces)
• Inside DSP Layer – 4″ x 5-1/4″
• Greenery – pieces of DSP from the package

Assembly

1. Fold and burnish at score lines.
2. Die-cut Circles and stamp with desired phrases
3. Adhere the inside DSP Layer
4. Adhere the larger inside die-cut circle to the layer in step 3. Decorate with greenery die-cuts
5. Adhere front DSP pieces to Crushed Curry Cardstock pieces. Adhere to the card base.
6. Wrap a piece of ribbon around the card to create a faux belly band. Adhere with glue dots or liquid glue to the back of the card and the front edges where the two edges meet.
7. Decorate the the front die-cut with greenery (I used leaves and vines from Lifetime of Love Dies) and gems. Adhere to the left side of the card with Dimensionals.
