Welcome to Creative Creases Challenge #90 where Anything Goes with a Fun Fold. Are you ready to play with us?

This fold, a Diamond Double Gate Fold, sounds difficult, right? Don’t worry, it isn’t. In fact, I bet you can memorize the steps after you make just a few.

The product suite I’m using this week is Regal Flora, available in the 2024 Holiday Catalog from Stampin’ Up! I just can’t get enough of the Designer Series Paper (Regal Winter) included in the suite.  The colors are so rich. 

The focal piece is created using more of the Regal Flora Suite along with Woven Golden Leaves from the Splendid Autumn Suite. All are products found in the new catalog. The greeting comes from Latte Love photopolymer stamp set (#163455), found in the Online Exclusives available now.

Open the card to view the writing panel adorned with more die-cut flowers. Lots of room to write a special message. This beauty folds flat to fit in a normal A2 envelope. 

Nuts & Bolts

Paper Cuts:

• Cardstock –
  • Blackberry Bliss – 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ (1 piece); 3″ x 3″ (1 piece)
  • Basic White – 3-3/4″ x 5″ (1 piece); 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ (1 piece); plus extra for creating flowers
• Designer Series Paper (DSP)
  • 5-1/4″ x 12″; score at 2″, 4″ 8″ and 10″ on long edge. 

Construction:

Refer to photos below to help with folding and placement. 

1. Determine which pattern you want on the inside. Then, fold inward at the 4″ and 8″ score lines.
2. Now fold the remaining scores lines outward.
3. Fold the corners back and glue down. See photos below.
4. Align the diamond piece with the center of the opening. Done properly, the horizontal points will not extend past the outer edges of the card. Adhere only the left or right side of the diamond to the card. It can be placed on either side of the flap depending on how you want the card to open.
5. Stamp greeting on the Basic White 2-3/4″ square (diamond). Adhere to the Blackberry Bliss Diamond. Decorate as desired.
6. Adhere the back of the DSP to the 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ cardstock.
7. Stamp and decorate the Basic White 3-3/4″ x 5″ for the inside. Adhere.
