Demonstrator Fun Fold Blog Hop: Potions & Spells
Happy Fall! It’s time for another Fun Fold Blog Hop with Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. I can’t wait to see what everyone has created. How about you?
My project is a celebration of Halloween colors. It’s a little Hocus Pocus fun. If you blink you may miss the fun-fold.
When the Online Exclusive bundle “Potions & Spells” came out, the first thing I said to myself was, “Where’s the Halloween Paper?” Be patient, Rae. A surprise is coming in September.
Welcome “Halloween Spells” Designer Series Paper. Look at those beautiful colors. It’s even available in a Scrapbooking Workshop! Now that’s wild!
The stickers add detail not available in the stamp set. Can you spot the stickers?

What I love…. The DSP packages come with all the paper needed (except for my basic cardstock) to create this project. Fantastic!
Now for the fun-fold. A little Hocus Pocus and there you have it.
Nuts & Bolts
Where are the Nuts & Bolts? Well, I realized while writing instructions that there was an easier way to create the cauldron fun fold. I decided to re-write them and to spare you the late night typos, (they can be really ugly!) I’ll put them together for a post on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
Too many bubbles? Hmm. I don’t think so….
And there you have it.
Tip: I used White Willow 12×12 for the inside of the cauldron and the writing panel for the inside. Why? The weight is lighter than Stampin’ Up!’s traditional cardstock. With all the layers it makes the card less bulky AND the cauldron folds better. Win Win!
