Fun Fold Blog Hop: Christmas Plaid
It’s time for a Fun-Fold Blog Hop with Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. We have eight projects to inspire you this month. Ready, Set…. Craft!
This fold was featured on my blog some time ago as a birthday gift-card holder. Today, I’m revisiting the project using pieces of the Christmas Ornaments Kit (#164378) for the focal piece. Click Here for the original post.

- 2-1/8″ x 4-1/8″
- 4″x 5-1/4″
- Basic Beige Cardstock
- 3-3/4″ x 5″
- Kit Elements (see photo below)
- Use the plaid side of a small center
- Cut Banner in half
- Cut one Greenery Bough in half
- 12″ Gold Cord (2 pieces)
- Mossy Meadow Cardstock
Construction:
- Adhere the Cherry Cobbler Cardstock pieces to the corresponding flaps and inside panel
- Dry emboss Mossy Meadow Cardstock pieces with Forever Plaid 3d Embossing Folder (#164049). Adhere to corresponding panels
- Build focal piece from Christmas Ornaments Kit #164378 (inside and out). Attach to the top flap only.
- Placing the Banner. Fold the large green center piece. Place the center piece on top of the folded card. Slide the banner pieces inside the folded center piece making sure the ends don’t extend past the edges of the card. Use liquid glue to adhere the banner pieces and folded center piece. Continue decorating as shown.
- Stamp greeting from the Greetings of the Season stamp set (#164325) on the writing panel with Cherry Cobbler ink.
- Embellish with gems.
- You’re done.
Have you traveled through the rest of the hop? If not, take a minute for more inspiration from the rest of the team.
